    A native New Zealand flax commonly found in lowland wetlands and coastal areas, harakeke leaves have been traditionally woven into mats, bags, ropes and fishing lines, while the gel extracted from its leaves has been used to treat burns, boils, wounds and skin disorders such as eczema.

    Harakeke produces a cool, clear gel that is rich in omegas, helping to enhance hydration and promote softer, fresher skin. The key lies in natural plant sugars called polysaccharides, which help prevent trans-epidermal water loss in the skin. Harakeke is also naturally astringent, helping to cleanse skin and regulate oil, encouraging a blemish-free complexion.

    The best !
