Our research began with a large-scale intake survey to understand what people experience with their hair and scalp – and their top priorities when choosing haircare. Over 900 people took part, sharing insights across hair types, ages, and concerns.

COLLATING FEEDBACK
Natural ingredients, proven efficacy, & scalp comfort
When choosing haircare, the top priorities were clear: natural ingredients and visible results. Only 47% described their scalp as healthy. Most experienced dryness, flakiness, oiliness, or irritation – craving formulas that support scalp comfort as well as beautiful hair.
CONDUCTING THE TRIAL
Our record-breaking global in-vivo trial
Over 600+ participants across New Zealand, Australia, the UK, and France were sent our haircare formulas in plain packaging. They replaced their usual haircare with ours for two weeks, then shared detailed feedback on how their hair and scalp felt and looked. This is known as an in-vivo trial.

Dedicated testing for curly, coily, and textured hair
Curly, coily, and textured hair is underserved in mainstream haircare. That’s why we conducted a separate trial for this hair type. 71 participants in the UK with curls, and coils hair trialled our Lime Caviar Intense Nourishment Hair Mask.
88% said curl definition improved the day after use
97% said their hair looks and feels healthier
85% said their curls felt stronger and resilient to breakage
