We love supporting WWF
We’re proud to work closely with WWF-New Zealand by donating funds and helping build awareness of its critical environmental work.
Antipodes has donated NZD$60,000 to World Wide Fund for Nature – New Zealand (WWF-New Zealand) from the sales of Chia & Kiwi Seed Superfood Serum.
We’ve also helped drive awareness of one of their most important recent campaigns. Our 55 SECONDS FOR 55 DOLPHINS Natural Beauty Challenge drew attention to the plight of the last 55 critically endangered Māui dolphins, which are now found only off the west coast of New Zealand.
Antipodes is a proud conservation partner of World Wide Fund for Nature, which has some 5 million supporters in over 100 countries.
WWF-New Zealand is the local office of the WWF International Network, the world’s largest and most experienced independent conservation organisation. Its mission is to stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which people live in harmony with nature.
This is achieved by working on the ground with local communities, and in partnership with government and industry, using the best possible science to advocate change and effective conservation policy.
WWF’s New Zealand programmes include:
- advocacy and partnerships aimed at protecting precious habitats and species
- minimising harm from fishing and other activities
- reducing impacts from climate change
- conserving and protecting New Zealand wildlife.
The majority of donations to WWF-New Zealand are spent on conservation in New Zealand, Antarctica and the Southern Ocean.
Economic sustainability is one of the three components of the ‘triple bottom line’ of company sustainability. Here’s what that means to us.
