It’s not often you head off to a product launch in a personalised car, but some of the UK’s top beauty bloggers were not only treated to a memorable afternoon tea hosted by Antipodes® at the luxurious Rosewood London hotel, they got to ride there in style in the iconic black cabs that the scientifically validated New Zealand beauty brand has taken over in the English capital for three months.

The guests of honour at the event to launch the brand's new vegan Halo Skin-Brightening Facial Mud Mask – among them Zoe Newlove, Sally Morgan-Moore, Sarah Wong (Temporary: Secretary) and Holly Ah-Thion, aka The Kitty Luxe – were invited to enjoy the Rosewood’s very cool Art Afternoon Tea in its Mirror Room, which features amazing creations inspired by modern artists: think Banksy, Jackson Pollock, Jeff Koons and Kandinsky.

Initial feedback from the event is overwhelmingly positive, with blogger @Temporary Secretary saying, “I used the mask this evening (#sundaypampering!) and I can already see a difference in complexion after the first use. I 💚 Antipodes!”, while Sally Morgan-Moore said, “I used my toner last night before bed and I can't believe the result after just one spritz! My skin always has redness somewhere but within 20 mins my skin looked the most calm it's ever been.”

The bloggers were hosted by Antipodes’ company director and founder Elizabeth Barbalich who was in London late last month to launch Halo and speak at the Natural and Organic Products trade show.

Mrs Barbalich, who arrived at the trade show in one of the Antipodes’ cabs, spoke to the audience about growing a global brand using innovative practices and ingredients sourced from nature

The 10 black cabs the company has covered in its distinctive green wallpaper packaging will be operating in central London until the end of June. Every passenger who rides in one receives a free Hosanna H20 Intensive Skin-Plumping Mini serum and has the opportunity to win £100 of Antipodes’ skincare if they share their experience online with #antipodeslondoncab.

Antipodes is currently expanding in the UK market and is available at retailers including Whole Foods Market, John Bell & Croydon, As Nature Intended and Planet Organic, as well as online at Amazon.co.uk and Revital.co.uk.
